Recently I am always late.
I don’t know which part of me is slower right now, mind or body…all I know is that I feel as I am entrapped in a slow-motion alternative life.
Maybe it’s just that I’ve just heaped-up so many things during these last weeks of study that although I am trying to catch up with, the pile of “undone things” is still very high. The good news is that I overcome the driving licence written tests (yeah!), soon I’ll start the driving lessons.
Anyway, here’s a new bento box inspired by the Nextlola’s Zoo, my friend Sweetbento made and awesome job once again!
Today is Pepe’s turn to show off all his energetic nature…and the lovely Vivace seems to appreciate it
See more bento boxes at Sweetbento on Instagram.
P.S. short note for my Postcrossing friends: sorry for being late in reply, I’ll be back soon.
Today I’ve received another lovely surprise from my Postcrossing friends, a 2012 Jetoy calendar from China (thank you Benjamine!). Postcrossing is a website that allows people to send a postcard to an unknown person around the world and to receive one back from another random member of the project…sometimes you decide to keep in touch with some of those people and so you start to “direct swap” with them. Generally we send and receive postcards but so far I already received three amazing calendars that are now part of the Zoo-house interior design
Postcrossing is a lovely way to discover the world and meet new people and cultures, if you think you could be interested please learn more clicking the link below.
If you’re asking why I don’t update my blog more often probably I should tell you some little things about me:
1- it’s easier for me to express myself by images than by words…and images took more time to be done
2- I am so busy trying to make this whole “illustration adventure” works that when I stop to work I am soooo tired and soooo lazy
3- what about my English? An American friend says that my English is getting worst everyday…he’s so damn right! But another friend, Jolette, said that my “UN-AMERICANISM” are charming…I really loved that, thank you Jolette!
4- my life is quite boring anyway. Pepe should write this blog, he’s life is a neverending adventure. Spring brought new enemies on his path, so he’s now a FLY-HUNTER.
5- I’ve worked for about 10 days on a secret commission, so I can’t share that illustration with you. Not for now anyway.
But if you want to know more about how the illustrated Zoo is born, you can read this interview to Nextlola published on the Postcrossing blog:
P.S. Postmen are very happy to know that the “Postmen-hunter” Pepe’s phase is gone.
