Asia’s wish

117- asia wish

I am pretty sure that Asia is now wishing to have a Siberian Husky coat

Zoo Invasion: ChongQing (China)

I love to receive pictures from all over the world to add to my Zoo Invasion section, and I also love to see what people chose to portrait…a place, a pet, themselves…it’s amazing to see the faces of these lovely new friends of the Zoo. You even add an animated gif file of her in a starship, amazing :)

Thank you Yu!

Now, who wants to be next one?

Zoo Invasion: Berlin

Today I forced myself to deal with my Saharian-heat-laziness to post this wonderful picture. I like it so much that I couldn’t cut it to place it in the “polaroid frame” as I am used to do…I think it’s because I am obsessed by window-views.
To have a nice window view is for me one of the best things you could be blessed by. To wake up in the morning watching an astonishing landscape can turn your ordinary day into a special one.
Thank you Biene for sharing this with me ♥

Birthday gifts

One of the best birthday gifts I ever received is arrived unexpected by mail.
My Dutch friend Jolette is a teacher and she asked her pupils to remake one of my illustrations using their own pets or their favourite pets. They all did such a really good job!
Thank you very much.

It’s so fun to see your own work spoofed by such young artists :)

Zoo mousepads

It took me a very long time, a lot of patience and dozen complaints but mousepads I ordered are finally (re)arrived, and this time they look beautiful.
But it couldn’t be a 100% happy end, noooooo!!! The two mugs I sent back for reprint looks now worst than before and, unbelievable, I have to pay to send them back to the printer!
Your mistake, you made me lose my time, and I have to pay for it…pure madness!

Nextlola’s pocket notebooks

After days and days spent fighting against sheets of paper, staples machine and a paper trimmer, here’s the new handmade Zoo pocket notebooks. They got a Nextlola’s illustration as cover, 48 blank pages, 2 staples and measure approximately 10,5×14,5 cm.

They look cool but the home-cut almost sent me into an insane asylum…millimetric precision is not of the Zoo-world, sigh!

Exactly my cup of tea

Finally I can hold in my hands some of the gadgets I have worked on these months, they look great. I am not sure I’ll be able to sale them in my online shops as I suppose that the shipping costs will be too high, but here’s some pictures for you.

Zoo-mugs: behind the scene

Guess who was the photo shooting director?

Christmas tags

This year will be possible to add a warm fun touch to your Christmas gifts using four different Zoo-tags.
They measure about 5×7 cm (2×2,8 inches). The front is glossy, the rear part is white and writeable.
In my shops you can find stocks of ten, but I’ll be glad to make custom stocks (for example, if you need 13 you have just to ask).

It’s amazing for me how my Zoo is developed in just one year, especially when I hold in my hands a finish product or a new gadget.
More gadgets will be available soon.

Sometimes I wonder how great it would be if one day I’ll be able to produce plushies inspired to my pets, and see babies love them as I love the real ones. :)
