Postcards
Merry Christmas everyone!

Here we are! Christmas is just round the corner, doesn’t matter if you’ll celebrate it watching the snow fall on swimming in the sea (although is so weird for me thinking to an hot-Christmas)…we want to wish you a wonderful Christmas.
In the mood for being… Amelie Poulain
Here we go again! A new illustration is ready…I had this one in my mind for over a year and finally here it is. It will be soon available as postcard.
This time I was inspired by a French movie, Le fabuleux destin d’Amelie Poulain, I saw it just once in January 2002 and I was stunned by its poetry and colors. Maybe ten years later it’s just time to rewatch it…to have a bad memory could be useful sometimes, as you can watch the same movie again and again through the years as you’re watching it for the first time…a very bad memory indeed
Here’s a short clip for you (in Italian, sorry!)
Tree of life
Here’s the last illustration inspired by Gustav Klimt’s artwork, a detail of the “Tree of life“.
With its roots embedded into the soil and its top branches going to heaven the tree is a symbol to many faiths of: wisdom, rebirth, love, strength, friendship, redemption, and encouragement.
Klimt put very few leaves on his tree, and he made them to look like eyes staring back at you…delightfully alarming!
White rabbit syndrome
Sunday morning, time for work…my White Rabbit Syndrome is getting worst day after day.
I can’t open my eyes at morning and the “feeling late” is already there waiting for me!
The courier that was supposed to come within Friday morning to take the bad printed mousepads (just 20 on 26!) didn’t come, the email I was supposed to receive within Thursday to replace a bad printed planner and three notebooks didn’t arrive…more complaints to do tomorrow, a lot of extra stress to menage.
Especially because I already have myself many things to do before the end of the month…it took me one week to make a picture to show all the Christmas postcards available in my shops, that’s not good at all!
So it’s better to use my spare time to recover all the works I left behind…”time is precious I know”.
A white Christmas
The last of my Christmas postcards design is arrived today, it’s finally time to add it to the listing pictures in my shops. So this year you can choose among 6 different illustrated postcards…or to have all six, of course!
Now that the gadgets orders has been sent I have a bit of time to update my: website and Facebooks pages and Flickr and blog…I’m also trying to understand how the RSS feed story works. I would like to offer an email subscriptions, so I am surfing the internet to understand how. A blog is still a big mystery to me.
[20.15] I am not sure it will work, but I just added a widget on the right side of the blog that allows you to subscribe for receiving an email everytime I write a new post. To subscribe it’s easy and very quick…so, that’s all folks!
Halloween postcard set
Here I am, stucked between summer heat and a raising Halloween mood.
Although Southern Italy is still hot as hell Autumn is coming, and internet is already becoming a spooky place. Halloween things are slowly appearing dispersedly…and I got that I am always too late in placing my postcards sets in my Etsy and DaWanda shops, so this year I wanna be one of the first!
I am a bit worried as I can’t see Asia’s bat wings anywhere since the works in the Zoo-house were made…and for sure I don’t have time to sew a new pair, sigh!
Custom postcards sets now on sale
I’m always looking for new ideas to make my shops on Etsy and DaWanda work more and better…even artists need money-money-money, and I got nine little mouths to feed (and a couple of them, despite their small size, eat as huge bears getting ready to lethargy).
So here’s a brand new “Custom postcard set” in my shops, it will allow people to buy their ten favourite postcards just choosing them by the list of the illustrated postcards I have made so far.
It will be as a market: “please give me 3 Fridas, 2 Japan #3…” and so on.
The full list is available on Flikr
Will people like it? …coming shortly to this blog.
