For fun
Zoo Bento: Asia with yellow tulips

Here we are with another spring Zoo-bento box, this time is Asia’s turn.
My poor Asia tried any trick to eat the food around her, but at the end Vivace was the only lucky official taster.
Once again thanks Sweetbento for the amazing job you did with my characters ♥
Zoo Bento: Pepe
Recently I am always late.
I don’t know which part of me is slower right now, mind or body…all I know is that I feel as I am entrapped in a slow-motion alternative life.
Maybe it’s just that I’ve just heaped-up so many things during these last weeks of study that although I am trying to catch up with, the pile of “undone things” is still very high. The good news is that I overcome the driving licence written tests (yeah!), soon I’ll start the driving lessons.
Anyway, here’s a new bento box inspired by the Nextlola’s Zoo, my friend Sweetbento made and awesome job once again!
Today is Pepe’s turn to show off all his energetic nature…and the lovely Vivace seems to appreciate it
See more bento boxes at Sweetbento on Instagram.
P.S. short note for my Postcrossing friends: sorry for being late in reply, I’ll be back soon.
Zoo bento: Arturo
You can never know what life will bring you.
In a boring rainy afternoon life led me into a collaboration with Sweetbento.
A lovely London based food artist that is now creating bento boxes inspired by my Zoo characters. The experience is amazing for me, and it’s fun to follow the whole food creation step by step.
Both of us can’t wait for spring to come, that’s why spring is our main theme.
Unluckily, at the end of the day I am not the one to eat the bento food, but her beautiful daughter Vivace.
If you want to see more boxes you can also visit the page of Sweetbento on Instagram, it definitely worth a visit.
Win a little Monster Contest
I am trying to learn more about how a blog works, I’ve already added an email subscription widget (it works!) and a widget to show the followers of the blog (probably me and other 2-3 geek cats around the world).
To tempt you to become a follower I decided to call the first Zoo-contest.
The first one of you who’ll become a follower will receive as prize (punishment?) little Pepe directly home for one week!!
He’s already boxed and ready to be dispatched.
…save all the delicate stuff, he’s an hurricane (I warned you).
[Of course he won't go anywhere but his Zoo-home...he's my baby-boy, and the world is not ready yet for such a menace]
♥♥♥
And the winner is…Garci from USA ( thank you Garci!).
A drop of humor…
…in a rainy day.
If you don’t like my opinion of you, you can always improve.

We want you in the Zoo!!!
To update or not to update?
If you’re asking why I don’t update my blog more often probably I should tell you some little things about me:
1- it’s easier for me to express myself by images than by words…and images took more time to be done
2- I am so busy trying to make this whole “illustration adventure” works that when I stop to work I am soooo tired and soooo lazy
3- what about my English? An American friend says that my English is getting worst everyday…he’s so damn right! But another friend, Jolette, said that my “UN-AMERICANISM” are charming…I really loved that, thank you Jolette!
4- my life is quite boring anyway. Pepe should write this blog, he’s life is a neverending adventure. Spring brought new enemies on his path, so he’s now a FLY-HUNTER.
5- I’ve worked for about 10 days on a secret commission, so I can’t share that illustration with you. Not for now anyway.
But if you want to know more about how the illustrated Zoo is born, you can read this interview to Nextlola published on the Postcrossing blog:

P.S. Postmen are very happy to know that the “Postmen-hunter” Pepe’s phase is gone.
