Trick or treat, smell my feet!
Happy Halloween to everyone!!
Finally Halloween is arrived! I would love to watch out my window and see enlightened pumpinks all over…but the sad truth is that Halloween is not an holiday in Italy and today, here in the South, it’s just another sunny warm day as many other.
This year I had not time to sew a bigger red cloak to Lil’Pepe, it’s such a shame as in the past I really loved to see him run along the house as a crazy Superman. Luckily bat-wings are still available…I hope to be able to make at least one nice picture to my pets in costume. But it implicates two big difficulties:
1- to convince my pets to wear a sort of costume
2- to convince them not to run away while I’m trying to take the picture…they’re all so much faster than me!
I am working to new illustrations for the 2012 pocket weekly planner, and this is one of them. I have learned this rhyme just few days ago when my friend Garci from Arizona mentioned it…I just loved it and thought it was perfect for my rebel parrots.
Let’s hope it will help them to bring a lot of sweeties back home tonight!
Although I would love to spend the night dressed as the wife of Frenkenstein giving sweeties to lovely babies in costume, my “real” schedule is to find a terrifying horror movie to watch chewing popcorns…better than nothing 
Zoo marching towards Milky Way
Recently I am reading quite often of new interesting astronomical discovery… for me it would be soooo cool even just to live in a place where city lights won’t completely cover starlight.
How great it would be to be able to spend nights with our Zoo-noses pointing to the sky and enjoying the beauty of the Milky Way.
Place where I would love to be: Cerro Paranal in Atacama Desert (Chile).

Your wish is my command
This morning I have found a very interesting comment to my “New Nextlola’s Zoo spooky website look” post, Josie from The Netherlands says:
“I love the look, and I think you should make a postcard of the corner where Lola is stirring the caldron. It would make a great addition to your Halloween series! I’d buy some!”.
She’s so right that I can’t say why I didn’t do it before…I have immediately started to adapt my illustration to the new use…unfortunately these postcards won’t be ready before Halloween 2011, but you can buy them anyway Josie as they can make happy all the Wiccans around the world
Something unexpected
These days I am working on too many projects at the same time, I’m not messy…I schedule the work to do the next day but every morning I switch on my computer and something unexpected is there waiting for me.
Unexpected as an email I received just few minutes ago, a blogger wrote me a message to let me know that one of my items is now featured in her blog. A sign of appreciation that made me very happy…so, thank you Mandy, you made my day!
Venus 2012 weekly planner
Here we are! The 2012 weekly planner are finally arrived and they look great! Is so exciting for me to see them in wire-o and paper
For now I had just the time to place the first one (Venus) in my shops on Etsy and DaWanda, but in the next days I’ll load the other three covers too.
