Le chat noir

Today Pepe asked me to make a nice portrait of him, as someone has already noticed we like art (all the books behind Pepe and the muffins are art books), so here’s my tribute to him and to Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen who made the original advertisement poster in 1896…we love the bohemian parisienne charm of his works. And you?

Message in a bottle

Today is a cold rainy day, so all the pets of the Zoo are peacefully sleeping in a warm place somewhere,  and I’ve been left alone dealing with blog stuff, poor me! So I decided to leave this message in the web ocean hoping that someone out there could hear me and tell me which are the WordPress “must have” widgets and plug-ins to download. Pleeeaaase!

Muffins smell is in the air

Today Grandma Duck Lola took a break from her work to bake some chocolate muffins for the Zoo. They smell so good, even Pepe looks interested…but the most excited is Asia, as always.

New website look

Although the weather turn to cold again, it’s spring time on the Nextlola’s website…here’s how it looks now, in its brand new Japanese style.

Welcome in the Nextlola’s Zoo blog!

Hi everybody!

Finally the Zoo got its own blog where you can follow our adventures (almost) daily, and above all keep in touch with us.

With your help this blog will grow and will find its way. At the moment we’re still arguing about the contents to share with you, most of us are not sure you will be interested in the best varieties of seeds to feed birds as parrots think.

We hope to be able to share as much sketches, drawings, illustrations and pictures as possible…but we also hope you’ll help us sending a picture of yourself  holding one of our postcards, or, if you framed it, showing us the wall where you placed it…or anything else you can imagine.

The Zoo invasion of the planet  is just started :)

Welcome in our world
